Our Mission
The Old Flag. The Old Policy. The Old Leader.
The Red Ensign 1922-1957
On February 15th 1965 in Canada, Lester B. Pearson retired the old flag to much protest from Canadians. The Ensign features a Union Jack and a shield of the four founding Nations of the Canadian people: England, Scotland, Ireland and France.
The Red Ensign was the flag the Canadian soldiers carried in both World Wars. It was flown in many battles, including Vimy Ridge in 1917, and still flies there today.
It was replaced with the corporate logo of the maple leaf as to enshrine the new multicultural path that Canada has been down since then.
Operation Ensign aims to restore, and remind Canadians, of the heritage and culture that has been lost.
A percentage of profits will go towards Heritage Canadian Communities.
